Who we are
Champolo Blog (blog.champolostore.com) is run by Champolo Store, a trading name of Smart Hustle Tech, Accra, Ghana. You can contact us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at +233 24 720 4860.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups: your name and email address, only if you subscribe. We use them to send you new articles and occasional store offers.
- Star ratings: when you rate an article, we save the rating and the time. We do not save your name or email with it. Your browser remembers that you rated, so you aren't asked twice.
- Visit statistics: we use Google Analytics to see which pages are read, roughly where visitors are from, and what devices they use. Google uses cookies for this.
- WhatsApp messages: if you message us, WhatsApp shares your number and message with us so we can reply.
We do not ask for health details on this website. Please don't send us private medical information unless you are comfortable doing so.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only use trusted services to run the blog: Resend (to store and send the newsletter), Google Firebase (to store articles and ratings), Google Analytics (visit statistics), and Cloudflare (to host the website). Each of them keeps the data only to provide their service to us.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
